Project 2a: Picnic Pavilion

The first part of the project involves site analysis at Port Dickson where we are required to analyze the physical context within the site where we are to place our picnic pavilion.

The second part is the picnic pavilion for a client of our choice whom we chose J.R.R Tolkien. (author of LoTR) We had to design a picnic pavilion which corresponds to the client and site. The following pictures show our process and final product.

From the field trip to Port Dickson, I learned how to analyze a site. With the knowledge from the previous project, we are able to use various architectural elements in the conceptualization our pavilion. I also learned how we can design to respond to the site.
