Project 3: Animation of Completed 3D Scene

For the last project, I had to do an animation with the length of 60-90 seconds with the completed scene in 3ds MAX. I used panning of camera with the use of depth of field to provide a cinematic effect to the scene. Due to time restrictions on my side because rendering takes a very long time, 24 frames in 1 hour or 1 frame will take 6-7 mins, I only animated most of the scenes with the panning/walk through with the aperture and focus distance. The Cloth and wind animation is also added into the scene where I used keys for the wind strength to control the fluttering of the curtain. The scene is rendered in JPEG sequences then imported into After Effect as a footage as it provides greater flexibility if 3ds were to crash while rendering. After Effects is used to cut and combine the scenes as well as colour grading and music.
